Current cleanroom mops do not allow for the removal of dried disinfectant residues causing build up that damage floors, lead to rust on stainless steel equipment and cause EM excursions. In addition, high spaces including ceilings are very difficult to clean due to excessive dripping and the weight of current mopping systems.
Foamtec has developed the Sahara+ PharmaMOP® to assist janitorial staff to quickly and thoroughly clean floors, walls & ceilings. Sahara+® PharmaMOP® is constructed with three purpose designed materials that dislodge, remove gross contamination, viable, non-viable particulates and disinfectant residues.

The Sahara+ PharmaMOP® is uniquely designed to tackle the difficult cleaning & disinfection challenges faced by GMP Compliant Pharmaceutical facilities. The mop head has the Sahara® Foam laminated over a hybrid microfiber fabric, ultrasonically welded in a GMP cleanroom. The Sahara® Foam and hybrid microfiber fabric work together to dislodge, entrap and remove gross contamination, viable, non-viable particulates and disinfectant residues that are adhered to floors, walls, and ceilings.
