Q: What material is the PharmaSAT made of?

A: PharmaSAT mop heads are constructed of MiraWIPE microfiber fabric with Sahara foam scrubbing strips to dislodge, entrap and remove particulate contamination while leaving the surface dry.

Q: What is the difference between the HT5716SH-EHS & the HT571619SH?

A: The HT5716SH-EHS is presaturated with 100% Ultrapure Water(UPW) & the HT571619SH is presaturated with 10% IPA and 90% UPW.

Q: What surfaces can PharmaSAT mop heads be used on?

A: All cleanroom floors including perforated raised floors, cleanroom walls, and vertical surfaces such as tool skins. Ceilings can also be cleaned but HEPA filters cannot be mopped.

Q: I want to eliminate VOC's, can I use the HT5716SH-EHS to clean every surface?

A: Yes, but certain modules have high concentrations of hydrophobic soils which maybe more efficiently cleaned with the HT571619SH. An example would be photo resist in the lithography module.

Q: Slipping and dripping are serious concerns, will PharmaSAT presaturated with UPW leave the floor dry?

A: Yes, both configurations of PharmaSAT are designed to leave the floor dry within 10 seconds.

Q: How many square meters can be cleaned with a single mop head?

A: 100-120 square meters(Floors contaminated with CMP slurry will reduce service life to 25 square meters).

Q: What is the purpose of the foam liner?

A: The foam liner ensures that the PharmaSAT mop head conforms to uneven surfaces such as floor joints and raised perforated floors.

Q: How often must the foam liner be replaced?

A: Typically, a single foam liner can be used with 100 PharmaSAT mop heads. Foam Liners should be replaced when visibly soiled. Foam liners may need quicker replacement in implant and CMP modules.

Q: Why is the HT5716SH-EHS presaturated with Ultrapure Water?

A: To reduce VOC emissions associated with IPA.
